ABOUT THE EVENT

Heroes at Bat is an annual charity softball game that brings together Billings’ police and fire departments for a friendly showdown to support a local cause.

More than just a game, it’s a full day of community celebration and family fun. Attendees can enjoy the 5K Beat the Heat Run in the morning, dunk tanks and a variety of food and drink vendors throughout the day. Special highlights include a helicopter flyover, SWAT truck and drone demos, live entertainment and a fireworks finale, making it one of the most anticipated community events of the summer.

Montana Hope Project

Heroes at Bat shines a spotlight on a different local charity each year, making sure the support reaches all corners of our community.

For 2025, all proceeds will benefit the Montana Hope Project, a nonprofit dedicated to granting wishes for Montana children diagnosed with critical illnesses. Founded by the Montana Highway Patrol, the Montana Hope Project brings joy and life-changing experiences to children and their families across the state, helping them find hope and strength in difficult times.
